I am doing some research on a certain type of plant called a Succulent. Before my wife introduced me to them the only thing I thought was succulent was meat. Of course I was wrong as usual and my wife pointed it out to me. I have learned very little in my reading except that most of them if not all are very hardy plants. Aloe is probably the most common but there are many as I am finding out. So which ones to get? That is the question I have right now. I would like to get some feedback from anyone who has had experience with them or knows more about them. That way I can have a more informed decision before I get some.

The main reason I am wanting these is because some one I know has a horrible black thumb when it comes to gardening. I won’t point out who it may be, but I have no problem keeping anything alive. Even plants that shouldn’t stay alive for any reason at all have survived long after they should have expired in my care. So with that said, lay it on me.
