For the troops

For all the soldiers out there I want to thank you. On a day that is not normally considered a day to thank, I am thanking you. Every one of the people that have fought, in some way, for this country you areĀ appreciated. If you get the chance you should always show your thanks to those who have sacrificed because they did it for you. I watched a video thanking World War veterans and it made me think about everyone that has served. I just wanted to say thank you. You and those that gave their life for us are not and will not be forgotten no matter what happens in politics or this country. I am proud to be an American and everyone else should be also.

The government is not this country and without us they wouldn’t even exist. Remember that when you vote and know that we choose who is in the office. Other countries don’t have this privilege so don’t forget it. We are the strongest nation in the world and it is because we pray and God protects us. If you don’t believe that look at all the countries in the middle east. They are lost and suffering because they turned their backs on God long ago and even though He is everywhere He has mercy on those that pray and allows things to happen where He isn’t wanted. Pray always and turn to God. He is what our country is founded on and just like our money says “In God We Trust”.

Times are changing and bad things have been going on for years. Are you ready for the end? Choose Christ because He chose you. Enjoy what you have been blessed with and be thankful to the One that allows you to have it. He loves you more than anything else in the world and to prove that He gave His only Son to become the sin He then destroyed. It is finished and He is the way. Believe in Him, He believes in you.

The reason

Christmas is coming up and I wanted to explain why I celebrate it. A baby was born unto this earth a little more than 2000 years ago. His name is Jesus. He is the Savior for all mankind and just in case you weren’t aware that includes you! This is a very good thing and an excellent reason to celebrate His birth. Now it doesn’t matter when He was actually born. It could have been on December 25th or on July 12th. The point is He came, He lived, He died, and He rose again for all of us. By taking the punishment for our sin He paid the ultimate price so that we may have eternal life. What an awesome gift receive and the best part is, it is already available to you. You don’t have to wait for shipping, or wait to open it until Christmas either. His gift has been here for YOU all along. He is just waiting for you to accept it and come to him. God bless you all and Merry CHRISTmas!
